ALLIANCE FRANCAISE OF GREATER ORLANDO

OUVERTURE DE LA BIBLIOTHEQUE/ LIBRARY OPENING

We have the pleasure to announce the opening of AFGO’s library. Created from the donations of a few generous members it will start lending books this week. It is located in the AFGO office at:

1516 East Colonial Drive, Suite 301, Orlando
(entrance at the rear of the building)

So far we have collected about 160 books in French (for adults and chidren), either from French authors or translated into French. We have also a few English language books about France, as well as some language textbooks to help AFGO students. We hope to be lending some French video movies in the future.

Donations of books, magazines and video movies, in French or about France are most welcome.

For the time being the library will be open twice a week: Friday evening from 6:30 till 8:30 pm, and Saturday morning from 9:00 am till 12:00 pm. This service is reserved for the members of AFGO and the lending procedures are explained on site.

The list of books available for lending will soon be posted on AFGO’s Web site: www.aforlando.org. If you don’t have access to the Internet, please contact our librarian: we will be glad to send you a hard copy by mail.

For questions, suggestions or to make a donation, please contact our librarian at (407)843-2257.

Welcome to the library! We are happy to offer this new benefit to AFGO’s members, and we are grateful to the donors and the library team who made this project become a reality.
